Bay View in Bourne {right over the Bourne Bridge)

Atlantic Oaks in Eastham (further onto the Cape near National Seashore and Rail Trail)

Bourne Scenic Campground is very nice. Right on the Cape Cod Canal. If you enjoy walking ,bike riding you can leave your site and have 14 miles of paved path to enjoy. If you just want to enjoy the day you can grab a couple of chairs and sit on the canal and boat watch. There are many luxury yachts, fishing boats and if you're lucky you  might catch a cruise ship or seal passing by. The fishing in the canal is supposed to be some of the best from shore for striped bass, if you are into that.At the end of the canal on the Cape Cod Bay side there is also Scusett Beach and Scusett Beach State Campground. It is difficult to get reservations here so we usually stay at Bourne Scenic Campground and either Bike to the beach or Drive, although during the Summer months it can take longer to get home in the car than it will a bike due to traffic. Enjoy! John
